Four options in detail
1. Roaming data eSIM
A data eSIM gives you internet in China with international routing: your phone thinks it is still in your country, so the Great Firewall does not block Google, WhatsApp or Instagram. It is activated with a QR code before or on arrival. The fastest option if you only need data.
2. Physical SIM with a Chinese number
